Bec brings a unique and deeply personal perspective to her role as a Credentialled Diabetes Educator. Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at just two years old, she has lived with the condition since 1992. This lived experience, combined with her professional qualifications, gives Bec a distinctive ability to understand the challenges of managing type 1 diabetes from every angle.

Bec holds degrees in nursing and diabetes education, as well as a graduate certificate in counselling. Her diverse expertise allows her to provide comprehensive support—not just for the medical management of diabetes but also for navigating the emotional complexities of living with a lifelong condition.
